Let me know if it has updated kodi in both retrorangepi & openelec. The kodi in the emulationstation menu won't let me put in the correct time & date. I've tried everything I googled to fix it. Thanks for the info!

It'll be interesting to see if it's better. The last one was bullshit. I'll flash a card when I get home.

Is there a way to tell the system to update itself or do I have to pull the memory card, load the image, etc.?

This is my next stop. I got through the first image that came with it, was able to drag and drop Roms into their folders via network, but only my NES and Turbografx ones showed up. I tried Retrorange Pi's OS, but I couldn't figure out how to drag and drop roms over the network, so I'll try this one tonight. I'm really surprised I've made it this far, I have no clue what the hell I'm doing.

Agreed. This is all new to me & with all the googling I've been doing, we are about 4-5 years late to this whole world of emulationstation, raspberries, oranges & bananas. I know nothing about Linux or command codes but I'm glad I know now. I've learned so much in such a short time.

Just FYI, when you flash the new ROM, it's like starting all over. You lose any games you've added and configurations you've changed. If you choose the full install, it still takes many minutes to get everything downloaded.

I'm less impressed with this version than I was with the original. I don't seem to have Snes or Megadrive emulation in this version despite dumping the roms in the folders.

I don't have snes or Genesis running the original download, so both versions are broken. They only fixed the Wifi connection part it seems.

I didn't have a problem with that and it connected to my home network on the first attempt, even on the original.
