I've tried both web uploader and drag and drop. Not tried external. I've had success adding Roms in other emulators, just not those two. I've been adding them zipped, and unzipped, neither works. What Roms are you using in that pic? My Roms don't look like that. Someone else on the Indiegogo Retroengine sigma comments page also said they can't SNes or Genesis to work either.

I can't even get the RetroEngine to show up on my network so that I can do the drag & drop method. I enabled the web upload option with the RetroCtrl program but it doesn't stay active when I close the window. How do I solve this?

Sometimes it appears for a few seconds but not long enough to do anything. My laptop is using windows 7, not a clue what to do.

Go into desktop app & click on retroctrl. Turn Enable web uploaded on. That has seemed to give me a network connection when I needed it.

For me it only seems to work as long as you keep the RetroCtrl open with Web Upload turned on, but as soon as I try to close the RetroCtrl window it turns Web Upload back off.

Does the RES image support NFS?
While I'm waiting 6hrs to dl an image to reflash my dud box I was just thinking that setting up NFS mounts in /etc/fstab to the rom directory would make everything I have available over the network. No copy required.

I've managed to get it to work by using my mobile phone as a hotspot instead of going through the home wifi.
The issue I have now is that only mame and c64 worked. It's not recognising all the snes, Nes, master system or mega drive.

I managed to be able to drag and drop ROMS in with the original RES OS, it was fairly simple over the network. However, only about half of the ones I pulled in even showed up when I tried to play them. I tried to install Retrorangepi, and when I tried to drag and drop from my network there weren't any file folders for the different emulators to drop files into. I'm really new to this whole thing, so I'm amazed I've been able to make it this far!
