Hi all,
Did anyone play SNES roms successful? I tried roms with smc or sfc format, but they can't read by SNES emulators? Why?

I couldn't get them to work until I installed retrorange pi lite instead of the original RetroEngine OS. Works fine now.

When you load an SNES rom, press Y on your controller when the little window appears and it'll let you configure which emulator to use. I think it's the first option. Load the Roms with snes9x-next (I believ)

Load the Roms with snes9x-next (I believ) Success load the SNES rom by "lr-snes9x2010" in the configure of "Select default emulator for snes".

At least 2 of my SNES emulators are installed, but I can't get Super Nintendo to even appear in the systems bar of Emulationstation. I have dropped some Roms in the snes folder and rebooted. Still, nothing happens. Any ideas how to get it to appear on my systems page?

On that page retroengine.doyodo.com/markdown-2/it says the SNES emulator only comes with the "optional install" you can choose at the first boot of your system. I fear that you would have to reinstall your system, since you can't solve the problem by adding BIOS files. Since you would have to reinstall the image anyway, I can strongly recommend istalling retrorangepi. If you chose the optional install in the first place; I really don't know. Maybe reinstall anyway.

I've had no issues with SNES games after choosing a different default emulator. So, make sure you use the optional install and when the game is loading, hit the Y button and try different emulators.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that the SNES emulator was not included with the basic preloaded software install. I didn't do the Optional install because it was causing people problems. I may have to bite the bullet and flash my SD and do the optional install I guess.

Consider RetrOrangePi instead. It works better and you'll never have to hear that bad guitar riff ever again.
