Mine wouldn't read my wifi from my iPhone at all when I first booted up. I had to unplug & plug in again a few times then a pop appeared in my wifi setting to join the network. I then was able to connect to my wifi. My password is simple & 10 characters long. I seen someone post about having a simple password & not a long crazy password with characters, numbers & symbols worked for them.

Yes, Kevin's correct, but ALSO don't forget that the wifi network name itself shouldn't have any spaces or special characters. This was what fixed the wifi error for me... I had to rename my wifi network from my router admin page. It's very easy to do...

I'm also facing "Wifi Error" problem. I tried with WPA2+AES, WPA2+TKIP, WPA+AES and WPA+TKIP with my home internet WIFI router. I also test with 2 mobile phone's hot spot (there is only WPA2 option only) and still had no luck.
Do you have any recommended solution ?

Hi, did you try the solutions myself and Kevin suggested: No special characters in the wifi (SSID) name and password No spaces in the wifi name and password Let me know if you've already tried that? Others are reporting some success by enabling the guest network in your router, and using that as the entry point. In all cases you must first connect to eh retroengine wifi on your smart device and from there, choose which network the retroengine connects to, in this case you might want to try the guest network. I hope that helps and makes sense? F

I can connect to the network, I accept the password (it is simple and more than 8 characters) but when doing the wifi test gives me error. After several seconds, the retroengine turn off
I have tried resetting the card with a new image as it says on its website and it still gives me that same error

Make sure the WIFI PASSWORD HAS NO SPACES
Mine would not connect until I changed the password to something without spaces

Here's what I did to get mine working. Changed my wireless ssid to aaa, and used my normal wpa2 password, and finally system booted up without issues(so far). I plugged my external hard drive with all my roms(external power source), and the retro recognized it right away. I'm going to bed. I'll try and play games later
